My Ride: BMW X-5, New Black Saphire Metallic 530i "enroute."
Default

Ok, finally took delivery of my new ride yesterday. Got my ACS parts over to the paint shop today, now I just need to find that very cool BMW emblem...I've seen pics here, but having problems finding them again. The only way I can try to describe this "other" emblem is that on the "blue" part of the emblem there is a black/greyish checkerboard superimposed over it. I want to find these emblems and purchase a couple. Got my ACS parts from Eurorev in California. Anyone know where I can purchase these? Thanks in advance for your help!

Try Bavarian Autosport at www.bavauto.com. They have the BWW emblems with red and/or black markings insrtead of BMW blue.

Thanks for that info. Went to the website and found the emblems. However; I really love the ones(found the post at the picture area on this site) posted by tategoi. His post is titled, "My E60 in November 2004" He calls the emblems Carbon Fibre Roundels. Ever see any like his? He is in Singapore and I will ask him where he got them. Was just hoping to find here first at someplace such as your suggestion here in the States. Perhaps he made his own inserts?

Tategoi,

Did you put 6.5" mids in the doors? Did you have to do any modifications to get them to fit?

Yes, I had the 6.5" at the door, located at the front lower portion next to the pocket. The driver was bolted on the door and an opening on the door panel was cut out. I will post the pics once I took some photographs, please watch my signatures
