Has anyone used newest Carsoft Ultimate Home 7.3.5 with BMW E60? Carsoft BMW and MINI is up-to-date for cars built up to 10/2007. My car 535d was built 07/2007 but yet I was unable to make a successfull connection. Whatever I do I am getting 'module does not respond' and believe me I have tried all sorts of different PCss with com ports and checked the car battery voltage and all connections several times. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong??? If I can't make this work by Monday I'll have to send it back to the retailer.

Aparently is possible to check what dignostic protocol I have by checking from OBD plug pins. Does anyone know how to do this? On my ODB socket I have only Pins 4,5,6,9,14,16 rest of them are blank.

I was able successfully build whole diagnosis system and was able successfully diagnose all my cars (E60, E53 and R53) and code my MINI and X5. E60 needs OPS head to code (there is way to code and program using OBD interface from SSS but risky and lengthy process)

I suggest to visit another great forum to find out more about diagnosis/coding/programming - http://www.bmwecu.org/

I have carsoft 6.5 and its a neat little tool, works great. INPA is a better program, I have got some of the functions to work, takes time and patience... The new carsoft looks good.
