The BMW roundel is a stylised, rotating airscrew - the blue representing the sky. That's right - Bayerische Motoren Werke built military aero engines for the planes that bombed the factories that they now own. It's a funny old world.

get the carbon fiber look instead of the usual black. carbon fiber still gives the black look from the distance.

I think I knew that sometime back. But being originally from Bavaria, it still looks wierd to me.
And the blue and white in the Bavarian flag, I believe, also stands for blue sky and white clouds (thats what the Bavarian hymne says).

Not a fan, myself.? Just my opinion.? Almost gives them a real 'after market' look.? Ya know, like some fake BMW products where the blue does not look "right".

I agree, i believe the different color badges do create an "aftermarket" look and BMW fits no where into that class of aftermarket accessories. In my opinion, I think even aftermarket wheels look bad. The true stock look, looks the best. We have to remember BMW is a high class automobile which is a beautiful car and is almost un-improvable....My opinion only..

yep man, HMN is aftermarket fine tuning the best car_BMW so it will be even better

For the black car this blue and white is IMO not the best, the other is black.

Iceman I agree I luv BMW (Bayersche Mist Wagen.-)))
but yours is blue too and for silver it is ok.

As always matter of taste.
