BMW Angel Eye
Hello!
I have a e60 525d '05 and I really want to change the angel eye bulb. The angel eye is now yellow, but not bright; it is dying. I saw on eBay bulbs for the angel eye, but I don't know what is a good one. Some says 7000K others 3w,5w etc.
I need one what is bright at night and also visible at daylight. Please can someone help me to choose the right angel eye bulb?
Thanks!

What kind of headlight you have? if it's standard halogen you option is become very limited ('cuz that was my problem before I did LCI Xenon conversion).
Due to the car year production you mentioned it's pre-LCI model and the AE will not be visible even during the day 'cuz it wasn't design as DRL even if it's the Xenon model (which has a much better AE design compare to the Halogen)
7000k is the color temp the bigger the number it'll have more bluer tint.
3w / 5w is the power ... higher better.
If you have Xenon headlight you may like to try MTEC brand of AE just make sure to get the latest version.

Standard factory headlight could be either Halogen or Xenon ... take a pic of you headlight and post it up.
As for how much watt... it depends ... for pre-LCI Xenon AE probably commonly 5 watts maybe.

I'd just check the W5 bulb in the left hand side is properly located in the holder.
You can change them for LED bulbs to get it whiter/brighter, but they are not going to be hugely visible in daylight.

Based from the pics looked like you have pre-LCI Xenon headlight ...
You can try check our forum vendor:
