I have a BMW 545i, and I have purchased m5 rims. I'm wondering if 255, 40, 19 in the front, and 285, 35, 19 int the back will fit?

if your question is if they will rub then yes.... they will rub. That is, if you you're running a sport suspension. If not, then I believe you will be fine.

get smaller tires or roll your fenders.

What size do I have to have them so they don't rub?

first you need to determine what type of suspension you have. Is it sport or non sport. Sport suspension will sit lower for obvious reasons. You have a 545 so i'm assuming sport. Recommended tire widths for non M cars is 245 up front and 275 in the rear.

you need 245 35 19 for front of car, rears will be fine w 285. In front will rub w 255 for sure on non sport and sport suspension. I am pretty sure since i have been looking around and asking alot of questions on wheel setups, since i got some new 19's. good luck w the wheels.

If you put 255/40/19 in the front, it WILL rub under the plate where the spring seats, See my post https://5series.net/forums/topic/112...m5-oem-wheels/
