Hey guys I just Bought a new 545i, I have had 6 E46's In the past, and always modded them back in the day. So now im back into modding with this 545, I would love to put the mtech kit on it, However i want to know is the same as the M5 bumper. and if i want to order the mtech kit from the dealer is their only 1 kit or a newer kit. I like the kit thats on the 07 550i. Thanks and pics coming up soon

Congrats on your new ride!
The M tech kit has a different front and rear bumper than the M5 kit. You can get the Mtech kit and still have an M5 front bumper, or vice versa for that matter. I have the M5 front and side skirts and Mteck rear. The M5 front has to be a replica though, from what I've learned here, as the OEM M5 wont fit properly.
I got my M5 rep from Trinity Auto Sport in OC and it looks sweet, although I just found out today that I broke a piece off the bottom somehow. My rear bumper is from the dealer, and M5 sides from a member here.
Now....go get 'em!

haha thank you, i feel stupid now, i did a lot of research on this site and now I figured it out, Yeah i hear the trinity M5 bumper is a great way to go. I believe I will be picking one up from him. I will be getting The kit and the 19' 550 wheels soon. Hopefully next week I will have the kit on and the rims on. I ordered these led lights = http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT Has anyone ordered these lights, I hope they look nice during day and night
