Thumbs up

Can someone here at the e60 forum, tell me the reason why BMW Owners purchase the 19 inch wheels over the 18 inch wheels?

Thanks in advance.

I think the factory 18" wheels look good because they have no lip or dish. Most aftermarket wheels have a lip or dish which makes them look smaller on the car (versus the factory wheel) hence the need for upsizing to 19........

Because the 18" look tiny on a E60.

Take a look at my car for example:

I want some 19".

Does Subterfuse's car have sports suspension ?? looks kinda high. My e60 has sports and the type 124 18" wheels but my arches look fuller ???

I've written on this quite a bit. The 19" lightweight strong wheels with Max performance tires literally transforms the car to near M3 performance. Acelleration, braking, handling, precision, suspension, steering and ride are all improved. The BBS RS-GT's have a large lip, but look absolutely drop-dead awesome. Many, many head-turns and double takes when people see the car. Pic's below:

Yes. I have Sports Package. But you're right... the gap looks huge. And my rims look tiny, too.

I'm getting 19" rims as my next add-on.
