it's too dark cuz white is so bright! I suggest getting tinted so if it's too dark you can redo it. Cost about $120.
My current tint on the tail is actually lighter then Mcfly's. FYI

What shade of tint do you guys think looks good on a black e60, I am looking for the cleanest look possible. Should I get the whole taillight done or just the red part leaving the white upper-portion visible. Which is better/cleaner Spray or Film? Lastly, how much $$$ does this usually run for a professionally finished job, and can any reputable window tinting shop do this? thank you.

$120 for only tinting the tails? DAMN thats expensive, you can get a whole car done for that price.
the black roof is better than blacked tails % ,
i advice you to buy new set of LCI tail lights better to you and will give you sport look SEXY !

i would definately go with the tinted taillights but i think the roof has to be painted
to match.i would love to do this but no extra $$$ laying arround.
