Blacked out tails on a alpine white?

My Ride: 04 525i, 04 Dinan M3
I've been looking for pics of blacked out tails on a alpine white but can't find any. Blacked out with the top clear portion left alone, so only the red black. How do you think that will look? I'd probably be doing a black roof after if I did the blacked out tails. Do you recommend tinting them? Or painting?

Phil, If I where you I would use tint, that way it can be completely reversible. And for the roof, if you get it done black I would use vynil and not paint it that way u can switch back if needed.

. Definetly dont black out the clear because any tint or film will make it look brownish when the light hits it. Id do medium tint/film on the red part. It looks so good on AW. I was thinking of doing a very light tint on the red of my TS...but idk.

Only 80 for the vinyl? Seems pretty cheap, I really dont want to paint roof or tails in case I ever sell the car and the buyers don't dig the look.

I am going to go with a lighter tint this time. The current tint I have for the tails is a little too dark for my taste, but looks great with the LCI tails at night
