Oh, I KNOW it can be done... ![Winkcool](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/winkcool.gif)
so how much, how much, how much?!?!
you can't keep people hanging like this! Seriously!!!
And I REALLY hope the entire headliner doesn't have to come off - I'm kind of concerned that they might mess smth up or smth...
Oh, related news: I went to a local shop today and got quoted $250 (with what felt like room for negotiation, if there's more than one person doing it) for alcantara wrapping of the steering wheel - takes a day to complete, gotta leave the car - they do it without taking of the steering wheel. I'm really thinking about this bc the original leather on mine is beginning to show it's age. At any rate, I thought you'd be interested in smth like this too...
Either or IMO - again, a case of "to each his own", I guess...

quotes:
i called a place in lincoln called no limit wraps. they said 300 to do just the roof and 400 for roof and fin. this wasnt a for sure estimate because they want me to come in and measure it. they said the headliner has to come out for sure. also on a side note this place said there would be NO seams
second quote is coming from a place called revolution wraps. my boyfriends brother knows them and he emailed them and is waiting on a response. i am hoping they will do it for 200ish.
both quotes are them using their product. i guess i could buy some from the guy on the forum selling it but that would be a pain in the ass and most likely not worth it.

FIY when I asked a local shop, they told me $100 if I bring my own material. I think - I think - the material can be purchased for about $40 per meter (~3ft), so $200-250 with their material is en EXCELLENT deal. I'd look at their prior works for sure though - preferrably some older ones to see how the vinyl ages.

Must be tough loving and modding your BMW in a town with few BMWs.

Hey, new to this forum, surprised I missed this thread, figure my buddies would put in a few words for me, guess not. I have my whole roof including the shark fin covered with Vinyl Gloss Black. Unfortunately my Photobucket is down atm.... But here is a link to the pictures I posted a while back, you could keep checking it and hopefully it'll be up soon! LoL
