My Ride: Alpine White 2006 530Xi (SLD)
dont worry about it! This is a good thread between about 4 of us who continue to keep it alive! I like all your guys ideas and comments. Im still on the fence about this even after hearing great news today. I went to get my eyebrow tints put on and i got a call on my cell and was talking to my boyfriends brother who knows a guy who runs a shop who was going to do my wrap. He got me a price quote of 307. Well the guy installing my eyebrow tints overheard the convo and said i can beat that. He went and got his boss and we all talked and they told me they would do it for me, shark fin included, materials and everything for $225!
What I'm concerned about is that you paint your calipers yourself, but the eyebrow tints you go to a "guy"?!?! WTF?! Are you slipping?

Lol the calipers were easy. I have never tinted one thing in my life so i didnt want to screw it up and then have to order more tints from carcustomz. You know how impatient i am! I just wanted to get it done right the first time! If i decide to move forward with the black roof letting that tint guy do it might of saved me 75 bucks. So it could be a good thing i let him do it! 225 for the roof seems like a no brainer now...

But I was talking about good quality pics of e60s with black roofs. Would be nice to know how the black roof was arrived at - i.e. painted, vinyl, what finish, how much, and all that mumbo-jumbo
