Get your roof painted jet black, rims black, dont black out the tips though

blackout only looks good on darker cars from what ive seen

on a white car I wouldnt do it and when I had a white wrx i didnt. I had bronze wheels and pink (lol) sti badges.

hahah so many mixed opinions, i think doing the roof black is too much and makes the car an OREO cookie. im going to get the matte grills w/mtech kit, from there ill see if if i should powder coat the 166's matte black. I cant afford another set of wheels so deciding to powdercoat will be an important one.

My wheels and exhaust are powdercoated. I can't tell you how many compliments I get on both, all the time.

If I had a car such as a Dodge Charger, Blacked-out would look pretty nice. Not my thing on my classy yet sporty 535i.

You do realize that the 550 LCI has black exhaust tips, right? Apparently BMW thinks this model E60 deserves a blacked out exhaust.
