After seeing Nick's M5 mirrors with the silver, I'm going to get mine painted if I can to match the brushed aluminum of my wheels.
NO NO NO

The black lower cover is the perfect contrast for all cars except black. Changing yours to brushed aluminum will not look right, keep it black Joe. I think silver painted or silver CF only looks good on black cars.

Hi vega,

i always thought about silver. Member xxterxx and nicke60gre has his M5 mirrors painted like that. Looks HOT !!

I think i will go for the upper mirror cover in carbon from lumma and the lower mirror cover in titan silver or silverstone II.
Any other silver colours from BMW?

Nicke60gre: What colour did you use for the lower part?
Danny,
My .02 is that you should get the lower cover in silver carbon fiber. Revozport and MyProjectCars make them but they are both currently out of stock. They're about $200 a set. I already ordered mine from MyProjectCars but they're on back order and they don't know when it'll be in stock again. I may end up just painting mine or putting on a carbon-fiber laminate but not sure yet.

You should PM ats for the Hamann prices. He sent them to me but I can't find it.

I still think the silver cf looks better on a black car than black cf.

Crazy huh? When I saw those prices, I thought they were for the Hamann mirrors, not for the M5 mirror covers. haha
