Even if you have all seasons in the summer, it's still worth it to get snow tires, even if you don't have the sports package.
If it gets to + 8, that's only going to make it worse, with all the melting snow.

That's a few days and a few hundred miles of beautiful New England roads without a wash.
I'm pretty fanatical about the look of the car 9 months out of the year. The other 3... well... :bashwall:
Maybe I should polish up my exhaust tips?

Snow tires is a MUST in Ontario... It will worth a whole lot more if one get into even a light accident, than a set of snow tires.
If you think the snow tires are too expensive, get it for a smaller size (i.e. 16").
When I was driving my M Roadster in Toronto, it once took me 2 hours just from Steels/Woodbine to Hwy7/Bayview.

Wow, I didnt know white cars could get so dirty!!!! As far as snow tires, its not the money or anything like that... So far I found the car to handle pretty good in snow, but the more I read, the more I debate getting some for the next winter season!!!
Any recommendations for a good 17" snow tire?

Best tires I know of are the Dunlop Sport M3. They offer great cold dry traction and really good traction in snow. They are the best rated and reviewed winter tires at tirerack.com. Only problem is getting a hold of them. They are sold out at tirerack.com and the only place I could find them was BMW Toronto. Apparently, I bought their last set with rims. I know Superior Tire may be able to order them, but it takes about a week.

Ok, kool... thanks for the info on the wheels. I think Ill stick out this winter with the regular tires and try to get my winter wheels for next winter.
I cant wait for the snow/salt to go away!!! I wouldnt mind as much, but they put so much darn salt on the roads, it doesnt go away till spring!!!
