nothing compares to HIDs. The Bimmian bulb is an HID looking halogen bulb. HID uses an arc. That's still a filament. LOL. It works exactly the same as a normal 9006 bulb.

I had Hoens, they're good but HIDs are much better.

Why not just get HID fogs from brabusw209amg? That's what I did and would do again. The 6000K HID fogs John sells are brighter and whiter than the Hoens. In fact, they're almost as white as GENEaTALS and Richard Hammond's teeth!! My teeth/HID fogs are 3000K.

I did purchase an HID kit from john, I'm just worried now it might melt the housing of the projector fogs.

It wouldnt melt the projector fogs for the HIDs. HIDs run cooler remember?
