My dealer recommends the Bilstein B12 suspension kit (springs and B8 dampers) for a lower, sportier ride (I'm non-sport at the moment). I did a search here on the forum but found nothing, how come?

It seems to be all about either Eibach Pro-Kit or H&R Sport springs here, with either Bilstein B8 or Koni FSD dampers. I like what I hear about the Eibach springs (think maybe the H&Rs would be too stiff) but I like the idea of getting a kit with spring and damper that are designed to work together. Enter the B12 kit.

So, if there are any B12 users hiding out here, let's hear your feed-back on it as I'm tempted to get it!

B12 is 1800 chf (about 1500 usd). This probably sounds expensive to Stateside members, but for comparison the Eibach Pro-Kit with Bilstein dampers runs a cool 2000 chf... and the KW V2 are 2400 chf (about 2000 usd). To the cost of the V2s (or any height adjustable alternative) you have to add the more expensive set-up procedure as you need to set height (or ideally weight per wheel).

Everyone on this board swears by the KW...shop around, it should be a little less than 2000USD.

You can get the v2 as low as 1680 shipped to your door stateside. It might be $100 more for your area but still a smoking good deal.

I have the v2's and I love them. They are worth every penny.

I've got Bilstein Pss10 Coilovers. They are great. However I did have a problem with one of their shocks as they leaked. I sent it back to the manufacturer and they fix the shock and paid for the cost of installation and shipping.

If I had to do it again I would get KW v2/v3 coilovers. I'm not sure whats the difference. I believe v4 is made for track / racing. So v3 would be perfect.

Thanks guys. I know about the KW V2 and their popularity on this site, but I'd be interested in getting feed-back from anyone with experience in the Bilstein B12 kit. Is it even available in the States or is it only in Eurpoe?

honestly man they dont market that here in the us from what ive seen and read.

they make good dampeners but just because they do, doesnt mean their coils are any good.

People learned the hard way with k sport, great bbk but terrible coils
