Bilstein B12 Prokit Eibach Springs
I have a 2007 550i with sport suspension that needs to be replaced. Please let me know how the Bilstein Prokit has worked out for you.
How has held up over time?
How is compared to the OEM sport suspension?
I'm working with a budget so KW's are not an option.
Thanks in advance.

I have Eibach pro-kit springs and Bilstein sports on my '04 530i. Ride quality with this combo is excellent. I have ridden in factory sport suspension E60s, and this Eibach/Bilstein combo is on par with them with respect to ride quality, some would say it's even a bit better.
I have had them on the car for only a year, but no complaints. The Bilstein sports on my E30 are twenty years old and still work like new.
You'll notice a dramtic difference in ride height if you don't already have sport suspension, particularly the front. I am nearly tucking tire in the front with my stock 17s. The Eibachs give the E60 a bit of a rakish look.
It's in my opinion the best spring/shock combo out there without taking the full plunge and going coilovers. You're probably only going to notice a slight ride height difference since you already have a 550i sport - probably around 1/2 inch or so and that's it. The 550i sport is already quite low, I don't think you'd want to go any more than that.
good luck with whatever you choose.

Thanks so much for the info. The front of my car is already sitting about 1" above the tires so I'm guessing it will either be the same or a slight raise to the front end. Glad to hear a good review. Thanks again.
