Does anybody use a trunk-mount bike rack on their E60? If so, what do you recommend?
Thanks
Thanks

I don't use a trunk mount because it scratched the shit out my old car. It was a Saris Bones and the sales guy at the bike shop said it was what all the high end car owners were using. I have learned my lesson since, and got a roof mount for this car. It is great and looks very sporty!

Well, I don't use the BMW roof rack since they don't offer a fairing to be used with it. Without the fairing the bars are noisy. I use a Thule rack. I got it from Namotorsports.com but don't really know if I can recommend them. They have less than perfect customer support, but have the lowest price.

I have a 2004 545i. I stressed about this.
I ended up getting a Hollywood trunk mount, removable thingy. It fits in the trunk, carries two bikes, and cost $125.
Okay locking is an issue, but I'm happy to be able to transport even one bike without cramming it in the back seat. Lite interior. *frown*
2004 BMW 545i Alpine White, with fawn, beige interior. All the good stuff except a aux jack.
