I currently am running a set of DPE S20's in 20 in staggered fitment on my car.

the Front and Rear rubbed a decent amount so I just rolled my fenders (front and back)

while most of the rubbing is gone, the front still rubs on larger bumps in the road. the rear is perfect.

i'm running toyo t1r's all around in 245/35/20 up front and 275/30/20 in the rear.

I need a smaller tire up front to stop that annoying rub that remains

what would be my best option? I heard instead of downsizing i should maybe try a different brand in the same size as it might be narrower?

or should i go down to a 245/30/20 or 235/30/20 width? will that actually help me or will i just be pissed i bought new tires for nothing?

I just want to be done with this rubbing it is so annoying and although the fender roll helped alot rubbing is still a problem!

245/30/20 would be according to rolling diameter. but since you already rolled the fenders and still getting rubbing in the front, first check out inside the front fenders where the bumper and fender come together. there's a hard black plastic and you could try sanding that down. myself and a few others had to do the same, and that was what was actually rubbing and it does sound like as if it were metal.

What is the width of your front wheels? That can play into effect as a certain wheel width can manipulate side walls on the tire. I'm gonna assume you have the standard 20x8.5. Your best bet is to try the 245/30/20

you are facing the same issue as i am right now on my 20" like nerweezy said.... check the plastic...

turn your steering left and right and see if your tire is touching the plastic... if it does then thats what it make noise..

I wish dpe would release offset info I have no idea what my offsets are on my s-20's

I haven't gotten around to trying to sand down that area, I do see what you are all talking about though.
