I don't speak "exhaust". This guy, whoever he is, did something with his 530 that really made his exhaust sound genuine much more than any other 530 I've heard. I want to know what he did!!!! He says he installed: "Headers, resonator? and high flow pipes to cat-back rpi" But I have no idea what this is or what that means.
Here is the video:
Anyways, for an I6, this thing sounds really nice imo.

Basically what he did is remove the stock exhaust system entirely. This will lead to not being able to pass emissions, unless you know a guy who will pass you.
I agree this sounds awesome. Wonder when they will make headers for the N52.

Howie, read the responses, he states the following:
"dmrf7777 @Classic0187 Rpi' catback is a excellent? sounding system.
You'll get the exact same sound by just installing the rpi exhaust.
That's all that was done to my car at that time. Headers and pipes were done after...
You'll enjoy the rpi exhaust"
He only had the RPI exhaust at the time the video was made - the extra sound may be due simply to the mic on the video camera.
RPI FTW!!!!!

That was the video that sold me on the RPI exhaust, I was originally considering Eisenmann. The exhaust sounds exactly like it does in the video, when installed on a stock car. It sounds great, I definitely recommend it.
