I love the RD Sport, but it is just too expensive. Same thing for Hamman. If I am not mistaken, Hamman is a Remus Exhaust System just re-badged. I did a custom Magnaflow Setup for a fraction of the cost and am very happy with it.

RDSport for sure. I believe that Hamann is a rebadged Supersprint though. I say go custom with Remus. The best sounding custom exhaust I've heard on a 550i belongs to SocalM5Mang with the Remus. It sounds amazing in person. Do a search and you'll find a few threads about it. GL.

The best to me is customized exhaust like magnaflow, flo-pro max and they are much less cheaper than the Hamman, Remus, etc....
I have my quad as customized by Flo-pro max system and love it!.
I would suggest to clip all each these sounds here and pick one you like the most.
Well, it is very personal choice.

For a fair price you can't go wrong with Magnaflow or Remus. I heard Remus is to quiet from some ppl, not sure how it would sound minus a resonator!

I have a Remus quad that I just had installed on my 535. I love it b/c it was a cat back exhaust and essentially just replaces the silencer. So it will not affect my factory warranty. The sound is great and the look is phenominal. Not too loud but it gives it that growl that I wanted. Plus it was a fairly easy install for my shop.
I would have preferred a dual muffler design, but I did not want to have to mount the muffler vertical or make a cut out in it to accomodate the battery compartment. So that it what I went with the Remus product.
The only issue I had was when I first got it installed, the tips stuck out too far and looked stupid. This was an issue with where the hagers are on the 535. They had to cut the pipes and make some modifications to get it too fit. But after that, it looks great.
The best part about the mods that my shop had to make it look right on the car where partially covered by the vendor I bought it from...Remus Exhaust Shop. They paid for 1/2 of the labor it took to make it fit my car right. Now that is customer service!!!
I went with a modified m-tech diffueser that I had EuroRev make for me.
I will post photos once I get my car cleaned up.
