Got mine today from Bekkers, ordered them 2 days ago. They are original BMW parts with the stampings and product numbers. As others have said it only takes 2 minutes, but be careful, even with the cloth and screwdriver. I caused a small nick right at the corner to the mounting area. Nothing serious and touched it up with paint but it is very easy to scratch, especially jet black.

Does look better, even though nobody noticed my inserts being a jet black car.

anyone knows if the rumour was right? (about the availability of red reflector in current US car). i heard that since jan production, all US cars will come with red reflector.

anyone confirmed about this?

i dont know but i hope mine does not because i already bought my reflectors!!!

I took delivery of my 530 on 2/27/04....it still has the black inserts.
