BB Exhaust Owners

For those who have installed the BB Exhaust, did you have to install new Hangers? I have heard it can hang a bit low with the Stock Hangers and want to have an idea of any additional parts I may need when I install the Cat Back.

I didn't have any new hangers installed or made and my exhaust sits just fine. I think that they're all made slightly different so some might not fit just right and some may.

The standard BB is not a cat back, just a muffler replacement with standard BMW E60 hangers.

I used the stock rubber hanger and had new bracket fabricated to go on the car...others have simply used shorter hangers. It wasn't "bad" without the mod...but I wanted mine tucked in nice and tight

Here's a couple pics of what I had done...the pic with the red arrow is the stock piece and the arrow indicates the direction in which it was made shorter / Under car pic shows the replacement part in place
