My Ride: 545i SMG with Limited Slip Differential

Good morning guys!

Just received a call from the dealer: my bars + skiholder are arrived.
Was told I have some little caps on roof sides. Never saw nothing similar.

They haven't time to install so I will have to do it alone this evening with instructions.

Tools required, any suggestion for it?

Thanks!

I will get pics with ski on the roof I hope for my bonnet they won't fall down during braking

Otherwise tomorrow in the garage but it would be sad

Anyway... Tools required are inside and I paid bars + ski/snowboard holder EUR 338.

On each bar you can load 75 kg, so 150 Kg total. You can remove skiholder and install a luggage box or bikes.

Got some hrs ago in Switz:

It looks good. What are the "little caps on roof sides?"
Do you notice an increase in wind noise?

Wind noise does increase a bit. Especially with Boards or skis on.

No, but I reached max 120-130 kmh till now: no motorway to come here.
During next days I will move to another village on another part of Alps through mountains and on 6-7 Jan I will come back home from there by motorway and I will be able to test 170-200 kmh.
Till 120-130 kmh no diffence in noise. Plus skis are aerodynamic. Will see at major speeds.

Edit: today I saw another E60 with these bars
