Backup camera, DVD player install problems...

So I got my ipod adapter, back up camera,dvd player, and paddle shift kit installed(MotiveMods.com). But im having two issues and I hope u guys can help. When I put the car in reverse and the camera comes on, Im getting those horzontal white lines that roll downwards. Also, when i put in a dvd, i get no picture. Help>>>>

My Ride: 2008 535i LCI with sports/premium package, Sports trans with paddle shifters, CF emblems, JB4 Software, Dinan Exhaust, Navigation, M5Tech body kit, Carbon wrap interrior trim and CIC Controller.

Those horizontal line are caused from the power source they or you used when it was installed. You can go to Advance Auto and get a small relay and connect this in to provide the power to your camera. I had the same problem. I took the power from the back up light itself. Looks like it not actually 12 v but a little less and the relay takes care of it..

Hi guys I have a question. I got an interface but I did not install it yet. The idrive have two connection I know one goes to the interface but what u do with the other connection that came out from the back of the idrive?

Are you putting in a DVD in your CCC unit? If you are, this unit will not play DVD's. If you have the CIC then I imagine you wouldn't need the aftermarket unit. I have a CCC and I use my iPod Touch to play movies through my Xcarlink.
