New differentiated exhaust on 550: BMW might move battery to center of the trunk just like M5.

I'm such a dope. I've been reading about the 550i update. Once of the new features is that it will have differentiated exhaust. Doesn't this mean that there will be a left and right mufflers? Why not wait a bit and order the new stock 550i exhaust? Then cut the tips and add the quad tips and viola a quad exhaust without the loss of torque and best of all it's OEM.
Is this what the differentiated exhaust means - ala 6 series ? Wow, that would be THE solution.
I didn't see this though in the dealer pdf info we saw on the other thread here...

How is the drive? Low end torque? Exhaust note at startup, driving from stop, and cruising? I need to have another Greet and Meet in SoCal to check your Eisenman exhaust out!

at startup itll rumble a bit.. (might be exaggerating the sound a little cuhz everyday i start it up its in my garage). driving from a stop its pretty deep. at higher rpms the pitch of the sound is higher but the deepness goes away. shifting from 1 to 2 theres a little backfire and sometimes from 2-3 and when i downshift (cuhz i took out my resonator). cruising i always keep it at low rpms so i just enjoy the deepness next to my music haha. iceman316 at wheel power asked to hear my exhaust.. i never really revved outside my garage and it sounded pretty good.. he said for sure its better than stock. i dont think anyone could beat the sound he's got though haha. where were you mr. fred? i thought i heard you were gonna come and show off your amazing mods.. which is awesome by the way.

Before you get too excited NeRwEEzy has the Eisenmann for the 530i. I haven't seen anyone attending a Meet yet with the Eisenmann for the V8.

If you want a 545 to beat you then by all means do get the Eisenmann M5 Race exhaust. It's what iceman316 has. It's not a true quad since the right is a dummy. But, you know what? It sounds AWESOME. Nothing from any other tuner can match the exhaust note.

Even daytrader0's custom true quad exhaust will cost you low-end torque, I believe.
