I got a quote for 1200euros installed for the Eisenamann in Belgium.
For the dual or quad, sport or race? I remember getting a quote for about $1K for the race version here in CA.

ECF, quote was for the exhaust pictured. I think it's the sport - the race is a single cannister only, the one you guys get.

1200euros was the cheapest (in Belgium), in Holland I got quoted between 1400-1600euros. Labour is expensive in Holland <_<

Wow. I found the prices that were quoted to me a while back:

Sport:
2x76 - Ret: $886 - RP price: $797
4x76 - Ret: $1350 - RP: $1215

Race:
2x76 - Ret: $941 - RP: $846
4x76 - Ret: $1434 - RP: $1290

This is from a local shop called Rocketeer Performance (RP). This doesn't include labor though.

I like the looks of the Eisenmann. I actually like the look of most other aftermarket exhaust mufflers over the Dinan believe it or not. Their muffler looks shitty to me. haha
Now the truth comes out
But the sound is good

1200 euros =~ $1500 about the same price as Dinan. I'd take Eisenman anyday because I love low-end torque.
I'll shop around this Eisenman exhaust in US and think about putting up Dinan exhaust on eBay

What about this idea, take the exhaust system from a 645 and try to shoehorn it into a 545? Modify the right muffler (break weld and reweld after fitting) to fit and cut off the dual tips for quads. No loss of torque.

Sounds like a good idea, but 645i Exhaust Note as not as loud as Dinan or some other aftermarket ones.

I'm such a dope. I've been reading about the 550i update. Once of the new features is that it will have differentiated exhaust. Doesn't this mean that there will be a left and right mufflers? Why not wait a bit and order the new stock 550i exhaust? Then cut the tips and add the quad tips and viola a quad exhaust without the loss of torque and best of all it's OEM.

I'm not so much concerned about exhaust note as I am about a true quad exhaust without the loss of torque.

If you guys want rumble, do what I did to my Tacoma. Grab a flowmaster muffler and weld it on to stock piping.

So would the loss of low end torque give me a slower 0-60 time?
Yes. Loss of torque will slow you down. There is a saying that torque is king from stoplight to stoplight.
