Would he like you to move some cars around the forecourt and maybe clean the customer toilets for him too?!?
Seriously, the part code price is on his system, and the labour time is shown on the BMW TIS bulletin. If he can't work out a fair and equitable price from that, he wants shooting.

I've also met some of people who are involved with it.
You should also check out the beyondthequarter.com videos if you like what you see.
(Me and my Porsche are in the background during one of the Lambo events that was filmed last year )

I got a quote of $270 at Gebhart in Boulder, CO. Part, labor and CIP update. Going in Monday...looking forward to having my 60G Video iPod back in action (car new to me in November).

Frank
-part $82.31
-labor $105.00
-total with tax --> $194.03
-AND- they threw in the following for FREE!
-"complete" oil change
-wiper blades / inserts
-reprograming CIP
-standard scope
-wash/dry
-plus some fidling with the radio as a "fault" cropped up between the radio "ask" and the antena
Given that I was provided with a 530T xi, all was good...that is untill I had left and attempted to run my iPod through the new aux connection --IT DOESN'T WORK!
I'm soooo dissapointed
Any one have any advice --> other than the obvious "take it back in..."

I was quoted $270 over the phone. Had the input mounted inside the ashtray, which they told me would cost a little more...so:
-part $82.31
-labor $105.00

My Ride: 535d Eccelsa, 05 2005 (built 12-04), sapphireblack, beige dakota leather, electric seats, poplar wood trim, sport suspension, 124 style 18" alloys, differentiated f/r runflat tyres, steptronic, adaptive light control, bi-xenon, BMW PRO nav, cd, cd changer, electric-foldable and automatic antidazzle rear mirrors, automatic antidazzle internal rear mirror, adjustable central armrest, BT, Hifi Professional LOGIC7 , extended functions aircon, full lighting package, green comfort fascia on windshield, PDC park distance control, voice control, CPT9000 car phone, BMW Assist, BMW On-line, BMW Tracking, alarm system, programmable remote controls.
The AUX-In installation (in the glove-box, as usual) costed me 140 Euros, parts, labour and 20% taxes included. In addition, they put on it, for free:
-CIP up-grade
-MP3 activation
-doors seals replacement
They offered to me also an I-Pod integration kit, fully integrated with I-drive (I guess this is a mistake), plus recharge unit, for 300 Euros all included. I'll visit them later in the week to have more details about it.
