The cubby hole is only on cars with bus nav (Europe) or without nav (world)!

Do you know if it is possible to install aux input on a 530d with sat nav pro, or it is possible only with sat nav bus ??

Thank you
Ricky

From the info I got from my dealer you need either Radio Bus or Navigation.

Here's a link to a picture of an E60 with a "cubby hole". Check in front of the gear shift lever.

I wonder how a "Y" adapter would work so you could have two locations for input?

Yep. Mine will be in the passenger footwell, above the net where the plastic is. And my dealer installs a power outlet there for me too.
You do not have the power outlet as standard in the pass footwell? I have one there above the net.

It's not standard.. The 2 poweroutlets in the rear are not even an option over here..

It kinda sucks but must be a US spec thing or something..
