Auto dim/ Folding mirrors Retrofit succsesfull

My Ride: 2006 530 d M-sport e60
Got my car back from the service center today, Had a full software update and retrofit programming for:-
Ext. MIrrors Auto dimming/ Folding.
Very happy
, They checked the wirring and I think they changed some thing because they couldn`t get the programming to work to start with. Also need to have a new Telematics (Bluetooth) TCU fitted which is on it`s way from germany.
I now have the new menu colours and also the maps are much more detailed than before, looks much better.

What wiring did they have to change. You must be the only person who went from the 4 wire mirrors to the 3 wire mirrors.

Sytner Harold Wood, just be-aware I had to have a full update which took 12 hours and I lost my Telematics module which is being replaced as soon as one can be sent from Germany.

Bruce, no wiring has been changed they just cleaned every thing up and fxied them in place. Unfortunatly im not in a posistion to do a DIY my computer has died sorry guys.
I can offer wiriring help and diagrams if needed.
