hey guys, im new to this..great info on here btw
but yahh i drive a 530i and my buddy who drives a 08 volkswagen rabbit mentioned that he wanted to put in audi led lights. as day time running lights i believe.
it looks veryy solid on the audi s6 and even the R32 here:
http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=post&a...ew_post&f=2

so i was wondering if i could put these in and take out the fogs or have these and the fogs? is this possible and would it even fitt?

It definitely would take a custom bumper to make the LED's fit..not to mention the extra cables you'd need to cancel error codes...
Personally not a fan of those LED fogs on the audi's...I think it would ruin the look of the e60 if it had those....if you want brighter fogs...just go with a HID conversion kit...

BMW have had the roundels plus Angel Eyes for a long time and now the LCI has day the running lights.
That's from where the VW (Audi) got their idea

I saw an E60 M-Tech in London that had some kind of audi style leds in the place of the fogs!
It looked, i don?t know...strange but nice i don?t know!
what i do know is that Audi spent a lot o f time thinking about a "trademark" to compete with Bmw?s angel eyes and got those devil eyes or satan?s eyes or something like that..
Wich in my oppinion are no match for the angel eyes...
I wouldn?t do an audi style leds on a bmw!...

I think HAMANN went with the "LED" theme like that with this new e71 body kit, looks out of place...
