So I've been looking into doing an intercooler upgrade on my 09 e61. This is my first turbo wagon and I'm not exactly familiar with intercooler or intercooler installs. Figured it can be too crazy, so I could just diy this part. With that being said I was hoping to get some insight from anyone who has either the arm or the vrsf intercooler and the reason why you chose one or the other. I did notice that the arm intercooler does come with all new hardware and couplers, where vrsf is just the intercooler. Price wise they're pretty similar. I'm looking to take my e61 to 550+hp eventually amd figured the intercooler was a good place to start. I already have dci+ mhd stage1 tune and that cool, but I definitely want to take it to the next level.

Which Intercooler did you decide? Currently in the market for a fmic myself, I reached out to vrsf and asked if their e60 application would work on my e61 chasis. And they replied "unfortunately not"
