Several internet sites suggested it would be a cool idea to install an APPLE TV box in cars. Come to think of it, it's a great idea.
Low power needs, can be turned off (no shutdown necessary), remote control included.
I'm thinking about this.
Question is, how do I get video signal into the Nav Professional display? Audio could be fed via AUX.

This would be GREAT if you could figure this out. I love my appleTV and it would be very useful on long trips.

Just did some forum research on Navwithtv. Their current website has no prices but from what I read in older topics it's quite steep. Over $500 sounds a lot of money. Is that the most cost efficient way to get the video onto the screen?
ah, one more thing for those who have it already: is the picture distorted or cropped? The screen is not 4:3......

a small hiccup I could see is that the unit won't be powered while the car is off, so you have to leave your car on and running whle you upload your media to the apple tv
this is a cool idea though
