I would hate nothing more than see the paint chipping after a winter, so I rather keep them stock than ghetto. If I was going to do it, I probably would get them powdercoated. There are so much little holes and things in calipers that even one bad spot can start the paint chipping. And without removing them I would apparently fail in cleaning and painting with some detail.
But the splitter is just about to be installed though
! And roof spoiler too!

I still haven't got my matte black "530d" text from Bimmian

I wrote them an email a week ago and they replied that I should inform them if I haven't got the emblem on this week. Well I wrote them back yesterday and guess what they answered? ---> That I should inform them if I haven't got it on the next week
!
While waiting the emblem, I visited the local stealer today and ended up ordering a primer painted trunk finisher

They have confirmed twice, that they have shipped it. I didn't want to pay that 60$ (or what was it) for airmail, since the emblem cost only 25$, so I understand it may take a while, but they "promise" 1-3 delivery time and it's been over a month now.
