Ebay.... got mine for 35 squid

When I was looking, quite a few E46 owners had bought the E60 space saver kit accidently so were looking to get shot of it cheaply... <_<

Otherwise dealer price is ?180 inc VAT

I take it then that the 3 series kit will be ok with the 5er

Does that include a jack/wheelbrace etc, as I don't think my car has these things...

Thanks

Peter

Not sure mixterk. I think the E39/E46 brace/jack will work but not the actual space saver

Just one point make sure you get a size that fits your boot space I got a 17" and I had to remove the wheel well upholstered bit for it to fit I think its only designed for a 16" wheel which would be suffice as the tyre will make up the difference with your rims in other words the car won't limp along
Ibought the rim and the jack etc from BMW I think the whole lot incl tyre from my local fitter was less than ?100

Worth every penny to ditch the runflats!

I think I paid about that... (But the dealer did fit it for 'free' - there's a bit of hacking to be done to make it fit apparently)

No hacking at all, all you have to do is remove the carpeted liner thats in there and the tyre fits straight in

I'm selling my space-saver on eBay UK, if anyone's interested. Search for "E61 space saver". It was delivered new with my E61 in March this year, should fit E60, not sure about others (need to get a part number from BMW and check against other cars). I've decided I can live with RFTs so don't need the space-saver.
