Not sure what you mean by M/// fenders and not M5 fenders. If by M/// you mean M Tech then there's no special fenders for that kit. It's just the factory ones. The M5 fenders are a bit wider and would have the side gills.

LOL...There are only 2 fenders for the e60.....Non m fenders....M5 fenders which are a bit wider and have grills....Are you talking about cutting your fenders to make it look like a m fender?!?!?

Maybe he's talking about M5 style fenders that are wider but without gills?

he means the grills. the m5 style grills without the M5 logo. just the M logo.

ok, whats the correct term:

gills or grills?

i can understand why the dual usage but just curious as to what is the correct term.



**edit** nevermind. found it. real oem http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...hg=51&fg=20 describes it as "Grille" @ 104.71 a pop!
