i highly believe that no one would put a 19'' for snow

although i was thinking to put my stock for snow tires... but then... just get a 17'' its better..correct me if im wrong

I think some people in Europe used 19's for winter.

Aznafin I think does. I dont exactly remember.

But the smaller the wheel, the better the winter performance. I think Max is 18's for winter.

Mainly M5 owners will use 19" snows due to the higher profile tires they have, but even still....some use 18's. The cost of the 19" snows is around twice that of 17".

I have 19" snow tires on my 19" stock wheels. They work GREAT! I've already driven through snow one day this year and my car felt like it was on rails. Funny part is, I passed a Honda Accord and Jeep Cherokee that night, both of whom slid off the road.

PS - I'm running the Blizzak LM-22's. If the LM22's don't come in the width you want, make sure you check the specs on the LM25's. Same tire, just different specs for different wheels/cars.

As nigxdoof mentioned above, there are a few of us in Europe running 19" winter set-ups. I am using the type 128 rims with Dunlop Winter Sport tyres; front 245/35/R19, rear 275/30/R19. I ordered these new with the car from BMW, so this is effectively (one of) their recommended set-up.
I have used them in snow without issues, however the weather is not that heavy where I live and I typically only have to drive on well prepped roads (city / motorway). If I was living in a remote area in the hills then I would maybe reconsider having 275s on the rear in winter! You could however run 4 front wheels, i.e. 245/35/R19 all round, which would be the same width as the standard 18" OEM rims.
