Which dealers did you call? I got mine done for $150 or so. I remember they tried to charge me more but I told them I learned from this forum that the part itself is like $75 and programming time is only like half an hour so they charged me $150. I can call my SA at Stevens Creek BMW for you if you want.

Or perhaps they think you're talking about the full iPod integration which they do charge abour $300 for labors to install/program.

Are you talking about aux video input?? Is that $!50 only?

The real price to add the AUX retrofit is the actual amount that your dealer/ installer charges you. Who really sets the price... a member of forum or your service advisor? What they should say is to shop around for the best price in your area, and that some members have had it done for "this price". Some E60 members have good connections at the dealer and some do not. Maybe they golf with their service advisor, who knows?

My Ride: 07' 535D E61... no toys except media pack and vis pack

Kris, just wanted to thank you for shipping the kit all the way over to the UK.

Got the package delivered last week and installed over the weekend. I must say, the camera install on an E61 is not fun, due to the tailgate loom routing to vehicle exterior and then back in at the top of the car requiring roof lining to be dropped, various body grommets resealed after routing etc. A fun way to kill a few hours on a Sunday ;-)

Anyways, all fitted and works a treat - the kits itself is well thought out and could not as I see it, be any simpler to install. Great product Kris.

Thanks
