Just found out about these babies - they look incredible. However, they do not seem to be available in sizes for the e60. Anyone use thse? Can you compare them to something like a Dunlop M3?

Not on my 550 ... but I just put them on my wife's Volvo XC90 and they are excellent. Even though they are all-season they grip well in the white stuff. Road noise, handling, grip, and firmness are equal to or better than the stock Michelins.

So far the performance is excellent for a moderate price.

No sizes to fit your E60? Too bad.

I just mounted the Dunlop Winter Sport M3s on the 550 and they are as good as advertised. I would be hard-pressed to argue against the Dunlops.

You're correct that size may be the limiting factor though...

Nokian RSi's are availble in the size of 245/40 18".

Nokian is a Finnish brand, and trust me, they know about the winter!
