Can rim style #123 (18") be added on as an option or is that only for the 530 & 545? Also, is that option only for Europe or does anyone have them in the States?

Thank you

My dealer told me that, unless the car had that option listed as available to it, they could not order it. According to the US BMW website, the MY05 comes with standard 17 and the sport package also comes with different 17 which I think sux. Also style #123 is not listed on the accessories for the 525i.

Another guy in the forum posted that he ordered a 545 and he had the wheels changed to another style.

You can put them on, but not by ordering it as an option. They won't let you change wheel styles here in the US, at least they didn't when I ordered. I wanted to get the 530 17" rims (forgot te style #) instead of the style 116 that was standard on my non-sport package 545. I figured they were the same size, should be about the same cost, shouldn't be a problem, right? Wrong! If you want to change, you have to buy the 123 style and put them on after you take delivery. I believe in Europe, you have a lot more choice through the Individual program to choose your rim style.

The dealer told me the same thing when I bought mine. You can order the wheels and put them on the car but they will not even take your other set of wheels (As a price reduction), not even if they are new

Thanks for the input. Guess when time comes I'll have to buy them aftermarket.

We can get every style wheel from the factory under the car as long as you order it.

So I got the #123 style but could have gotten any style (except the M5) from the factory.
