anyone knows who has changed the shadow trim from chrome to black i would love to do the same but i need part numbers.

this is just to change the chrome molding on the trims right i see a total of 8 chome pcs that would need to be changed nothing else, , why the weatherstrip, is that the rubber part?

Some dealers are more some are less , i thought Circle had quoted me 177 but when i called again first they said 225 then they said the first time i probably got some discount, the guy then said 20% for a total of 200.72. Funny thing is that 20% of 225 is not 200.72

I was thinking of using the DIY instructions to remove it and then get it painted at a local body shop. Since my car is Jet Black I will get it color matched. I figured it should cost less than $200 shadow parts and look better too.

I suggest that if you are gonna go that route have it powdercoated instead.
