Anyone have the Bavarian Technic scanner?
#1
Found this pc scanner online while searching for a good BMW scanner. I want to reset my battery after replacement and that does it among a hundred other things. The enthusiast version is $250, a lot but still not too bad for what it appears to do. Anyone with personal experience with this?

Says "activates components for troubleshooting" as one of it's functions - does that mean I can use this to disable the DRLs and enable mp3 playback? If so, it kind of pays for itself with just those two. Although, I think you need the actual BMW software for enabling something - don't you?

I had and sold it. It is pretty good for diagnostic only but not for programming/coding I wanted one that is able to program/code. If you want more info about BMW scanners go www.bmwecu.org
