thats what i was thinking, SI member must think alike . the center is gloss balck now. i was going to try, "try" being the key word, to paint the center matte and the lip gloss black. if its too difficult i may do a satin or gloss for the entire wheel. im trying to eliminate all chrome/stainless from the car. if i can accomplish the painting ill do the shadowline and tips

I tried painting my wheels once... haha got them done professionally afterwards. My issue was that the paint and everything looked really good but i couldn't find any worth while clearcoat. the clearcoat i had made the wheel look brownish bc it wasn't super clear and my wheels were silver.

shouldn't be that hard to do if you get the right clearcoat.

id go for it, it seems like you have the time.. id go for satin all around cause it seems like less work..lol.. then id just buy the trim, i mean i think they shadowline trim on the car is like a couple of hundred bucks (thinking 2-3) i may be completely wrong, but thats what i remember. Try it, why not right..?
