Hi, just wondering if anyone has chipped their 530d, and if so which company did you use and what were the results - better acceleration??, fuel consumption changes?? Also, has anyone done this while the car is under warranty (although mine isn't!)

Ta!

Yes i have ecu remap on my 2006 231bhp 530d, its now remapped to 285bhp and im well chuffed, mostly because i did my friends M3 E36 5 speed (not evo) in this 530d

i got it done by Mstyle in Romford, near collier row,

And if you check my posts, i get excellent mpg aswell since having this done, try 600 miles almost out of a full tank..!!

Let me know if you want details

Is yours 218 or 231, you can tell if its ignition is button or key start?

i would be interested in this also, i have a button start 231bhp 530d 2006. And have heard that these remaps are very common, and improve all aspects of driving inc mpg, which is quite vital for me, i got my 2nd hand 530d with 31k, and within a year it will in the regions of 65 -70 k miles. self employed

Yep, I'll second that. Simon sorted my 530d, great job.
Myself and a few mates organised a 'group buy', so he came down to South Wales and remapped about 8 cars during the day.
The guy definately knows his stuff, considering he had to find his way through several different types of car (not all BM's).

I'd recommend him, and will definately use him again.
