Anyone know or find an alternate drop in instead of the earthquake shallow subs. I remember reading some guy doing pioneers with a custom box.

The space under the seat is just too small to custom fit anything.

I agree with mag75... due to my experinces a custom box in the trunk will sound alot better. If you have the space in the trunk and don't need the whole thing for storage, I think it will be the best way to go. I'm looking to start on mine soon... Just need the time.

Check Diamond Audio I have 2 10"s in my Porsche truck and they are by far the cleanest hardest subs I've heard...If u looking for a real clean crisp sound spend a few extra bucks it be worth it.

With the amount you'll end up spending on the earthquakes and an amp you might as well just get one 12" in the trunk. I just installed a kicker 12" CVX in a ported KICKER box and a 1200watt performance technique amp for $350 installed. Not the worlds greatest setup but it does its job well.
