I am know many members have 20" rims on their 5 series, but I am curious if there were any fitment problems? Rubbing? I have seen some nice 20" rims for sale and did not even look at them as I thought 19" is the best fir, but now I like the 20" look. Would one need to roll the fenders or use spacers? I have a 2006 530i with a non-sport suspension, here is the info of some tires/rims I saw:
RS-8 C1 Rims
20x8.5 et18 and 20x10 et20
245/35/20 and 285/30/20
RS-8 C1 Rims
20x8.5 et18 and 20x10 et20
245/35/20 and 285/30/20

Nice wheels and tire dimensions! I have the same tire dimensions as well.
From what I researched you'll have no rubbing with stock non-sport suspension. I'm getting Spacers with KW3 suspension so I can lower and widen my stance further to improve the ride and look.
Who is selling the wheels?
hope this helps

Thanks for the info! I plugged those tire and rim numbers into a formula that Michael from Acute Performance (thanks Mike) gave me and those numbers are perfect! I never heard of these rims but sure like them! They are for sale on Kijiji (Calgary, Alberta) for $2600.

Looks like you are going with a meatier tire. Should be fine on the OEM suspension but MIGHT rub if lowered... Some members here have up sized due to poor road conditions and more rim protection. Maybe someone with these tire dimensions could chime in.
245/30/20 and 285/25/20 will keep the rolling diameter closer to OEM and is what I currently run.

The OP's current setup will work fine but if he plans on running an aggresive drop or spacers he might need a fender roll and/or tire dimension change.

i want to warn you on performance...
i had my 20s on for a week before a pothole took me out the game...(please heed the advice given by Medik13 lol)
check out my thread on that btw: https://5series.net/forums/topic/112...olei-hate-you/
but while they were on my car...i hated the performance.
depending on the wheels (mine are three piece and heavy as hell) it adds a shit ton of extra weight. acceleration and breaking took huge performance hits.
i raced my friend who has a stock 545i and she kicked my ass....keep in mind i have nearly 75hp more than her due to my engine/exhaust mods. i was pissed.
now that my 19s are back on my car...it handles better, stops sooner, accelerates faster and is overall more enjoyable.
i would think twice about 20s if you care about performance.
not to mention my lowered set up rubbed like all hell. but this is just one man's jaded opinion. Good Luck!

I have similar looking wheels, http://www.vertiniwheels.com/images/...ari/savari.htm, with the same size dimensions. I don't have any issues with rubbing, but I have noticed a drop in my gas mileage.
Regardless of the drop in gas mileage, I love my dubs!

Again great info on this forum!! The tires he is selling with the rims are Falken FK452s. Brand new tires and rims, never mounted.
Now the roads here in northern canada can be brutal for holes, so maybe some 19" would be safer. I will give it a good think!!
