I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with BMW aftermarket wheels from ebay? I was thinking about getting a set of the M6 style. I was looking to do 19in staggered 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I have a 545i without the sport package so I was thinking these would look good. I am just curious about the quality. I can get a deal on the tires so it makes it more palatable.

The funny thing is that when we ask the members to tell us if they can name a place that sold them a replica that did not have problems (vibration), we get no responses....

I would love to know if there is such a place, but I have never heard of one yet. Anyone?

AOBMW: would you mind posting a link to the actual wheels in question, might help members give you a bit more feedback...seems the only M6 167 reps that members do now have problems with are the ones made by Miro....

I have yet to hear anything positive about any reps for the 166s.

Just remember, if you want to avoid rubbing if you get Style 166 wheels, you need to get the 545/550 sized tires (245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 rears) and not the M5 sized tires (255/40/19 fronts and 285/35/19 rears). The 545/550 sized tires will fit on the 166s.

the OP asked about M6 style wheels...which would mean 167's, not 166's.....

You are right. I am aware of the difference.

Member melimel has the Miro 167 reps.. In person, they look very good IMHO. I can't tell the difference between the Miro rep 167s and the OEM 167s. The Miro rep 167s seem like a decent rep.
