In the last month or so, I road tripped from AZ to LA and then all the way back to PA.

My Valentine 1 saved my butt enough times to pay for itself in the first week alone. The ability to see where the "threat" signal is coming from is HUGE!

I have the Escort/Passport 8500i, but my next one will be a V1.

The 8500i has saved my butt a number of times,
but I miss the directional arrows of the V1.

radar det works but not all the time (I got a ticket with V1 on). Don't depend too much on it.

I use the escort 8500i it works great not to many false alarms, I used to have a cobra and it would go off all the time with false alarms.

Screw it, just get an illegal laser/radar jammer and if you get caught, swallow it before the cop comes to the door. So what if it hurts a little.

V1 is the best that is out there.

But usually when cops are seriously out to get speeders they use instant on and by the time your Radar goes off your done. V1 plus a good jammer like the Laser Interceptor is the safest way to go. But sometimes the laws can be quite harsh for those devices.

Check out www.guysoflidar.com one of the best sites out there for radar info. and jammers.

the V1 is outdated! Doesn't support usb connectivity to upload fixed radar traps, redlight cameras etc etc etc
