Call me an exhaust freak, but I've recently sold the Eisenmann Race in exchange for a custom Magnaflow exhaust. No, I didn't go quads, I'm still in love with look of the stock OEM rear bumper, so I'm keeping that for now.
Some of you may remember that I had the 14862 bolt-on Magnaflow with the 2.25" inlet/outlet. The new one is a cylindrical shaped stainless steel with a 3" inlet/outlet. Based onmy butt dyno, this allowed me to retain the same power feel through the RPM band similarly with the Eisenmann Race exhaust. With the 14862, I felt a bit of low-end torque power loss (on a V8). I also deleted all my resonators. So,it's straight-piped to the muffler topped off with double-walled, angled, staggered 3" tips.
The difference in sound between the Eisenmann and the Magnaflow is the deep tone that Magnaflow produces, which I really like. The new set-up drones (no doubt), but not to the point of annoyance IMHO. Again, this is a very subjective matter, so to others it may be too loud. My wife has ridden my car several times since having the new exhaust, and isn't bothered by the cabin noise. It's wife approved
I will try to take an interior sound clip soon. In the meantime, here are some pics of the new set-up and a sound-clip at the bottom.

I'm very pleased with the work that Lewisville Muffler has done. For DFW, TX folks, I highly recommend this place. Ask for Jason.

Looks and sounds great, Frank! It's probably a good thing you aren't going with quads. If you did, you would be spending money like crazy.

What would you say the difference is between this setup with the resonator and without. Im seriously considering removing my resonator but would really like some more feedback from others before I do it.

Without, it's droning slightly louder, but not obnoxiously annoying. I've come to expect that with this set-up. If I were to put the resonators back in, it my tone down the overall sound and loudness of the muffler. After 5-600 miles, I may reconsider, but not until then. I like the sound now.
I'll try to take some interior sound clips tomorrow.
