A big up for Pinguhk, just got these bulbs today from him today, I had the Philips 'blue vision' 5w bulbs and thought they were pretty good (which they are), but compared to these 8w bulbs from Pinguhk, will have a look and see what you think, 1st pic standard 5w bulb and 8w bulb, 2nd pic blue vision on left 8w bulb on right, 3rd pic both 8w bulbs,

Looks great. Question: I ordered and got these, but how the helllll do you get the old ones out?? I popped the two "covers" out, and exposed the bulb but how do you replace the actual bulb?
I already broke one so i need some help

I'll see if I can find a diy for this on here, I know there's one on here because that's how I learnt
Soz don't know how to paste the actual link page but just search for 'changing yellow halo's, Pinguhk is the poster, has a good diy on it

HHMM, How do you have 2 different bulbs in there ? I pulled my Angel eyes and I only have 1 bulb that is use for both lights, its a philip 10w bulb. I have a 04 545i

I thought there was something special you had to do in order to prevent discharge from a capacitor? I heard the HID headlights have a pretty nasty discharge.
Also, that video makes it appear that there is only one bulb you need to change out? I think the first bulb he took out and the last one he put in was the actual headlight bulb? Am I mistaken with that? Are both eyes lit with only one bulb?
As easy as this video makes it out to be, I may have to do this mod!
